The Makk Tire

Description

One species that lives in Deipátire [link] is the Makk Tire.

In Irish, 'Mac Tíre' means Wolf, so that's where the name comes from.

It lives in the northeastern plains of Dolber, and the forests of western Áquila.

It has the size (in height) of a grizzly bear, and can be 5 meters in length (with tail)

What is special about the Makk Tíre is that it has no eyes, in other words, that it is completely blind. Instead, it uses a clicking sound, echoes, that is, just like bats. Just that their clicks are 4 times faster, and better.
They send out a constant clicking sound, and can get an exact description of the surrounding area. So they can run at high speeds (they can run 90 km an hour) without stopping when they already'' sees'' environment. They can also see speed bumps, potholes and so on. So one can almost say that they'' sees'' better than we do. In addition, they send out the clicks when they sleep, so it's very difficult to sneak up on them.

They also have a very good sense of smell, and they can distinguish several scents at once. It is good to have in order to know more about what that actually is in front of you.
Hearing is somewhat better than ours, but is nothing special.

Just like the wolf, the animal is very misunderstood. It's not as aggressive as it might appear to be, and do not want to be so near humans. And beside, we do not taste so good :) But of course, accidents do happen.

They "see" when they sleep? I like this a lot, the information as much as the picture itself! My question is, are they nocturnal? I could imagine that being unaffected by darkness would give them an edge to hunt at night, and I certainly wouldn't like to meet one!
